The Wellness Sommelier evaluates the products, practices, rituals, and brands that make up the higher end of wellness, and holds every recommendation to a single published standard before it goes live. That standard exists so a recommendation can be checked, not simply trusted.
What Gets Published Here
Every guide, review, and recommendation here is measured against the same standard before it’s made public: the same six criteria, the same evidence labels, applied the same way whether the subject is a sauna, a sleep protocol, or a supplement brand. The full method is published, not held back for anyone to take on faith.
The standard should hold up regardless of who is applying it.
The Standard Comes First
Nothing published here depends on knowing who wrote it. Recommendations are measured the same way whether the person applying the standard is named or not, and regardless of how many people are involved in producing them.
Writers, editors, and testers may eventually be credited by name as this grows. That’s a separate question from whether a recommendation is sound. The standard has to hold up on its own either way, not on the strength of a byline or a reputation.

Anything unclear about this site or a specific recommendation can be sent to editor@thewellnesssommelier.com, or through Contact.
Whether or not a name is ever attached to something published here, the standard does the same work every time.
