This page explains, in plain language, how The Wellness Sommelier earns money and what that does and doesn’t change about what gets recommended.
The Short Version
Some of the links in our guides are affiliate links. When a purchase is made through one, The Wellness Sommelier earns a commission, at no added cost to the reader. That relationship never determines what gets recommended.
Where Disclosure Appears
Affiliate links are marked plainly wherever they appear, in the same sentence or the one immediately after, not buried in a footnote or left to this page alone. If a link in an article isn’t marked, it isn’t an affiliate link.
What Doesn’t Have a Link
Not every recommendation carries one. A ritual, a habit, or general guidance, how much sleep to get, for example, has nothing to sell and nothing to disclose. And when the honest recommendation is not to buy something, no affiliate link is attached to that call. A link only appears when there’s a genuine reason to click it.
Why This Doesn’t Change What Gets Recommended
Every product, practice, and brand on this site is measured against The Sommelier Standard before any commercial relationship is considered. The standard includes its own test: would this still be published if it earned no money? That question gets answered first, and the answer doesn’t change once a link is added.
